OVERVIEW

The Peterborough Rowing Club offers local organizations unique team building experiences, helping to enhance operational culture and sense of community. Our activities take place in boats on the beautiful Otonabee River and on rowing machines that can be transported throughout the city. Participants will learn the fundamentals of healthy active living and teamwork through rowing activities that emphasize communication, synchronization, and trust. Rowing is a low-impact sport accessible to individuals of all ages and abilities. Programs can be adapted to accommodate the needs of each group. Our Corporate program consists of either a Water Session or a Land Session as a team building experience to suit your schedule.

Water Session

Our on-water program consists of one 3-hour session. Rowing coaches begin by instructing participants in the basics of the rowing stroke on the rowing machine, after which they then move into crew boats on the water. Sessions will often end with a friendly race between boats.
